For over three decades, Khan Foundation has been at the forefront of empowering communities, promoting human rights, and driving socio-economic progress across Bangladesh.

Vision

Khan Foundation would like to see a future Bangladesh where Liberal Democracy flourishes and sustains along with the growth of Economic Development, where basic human rights and dignity are honored, where the millions of downtrodden Bangladeshis no longer suffer under the yoke of poverty.

Mission

To strengthen and sustain true representative democracy in the country from the grassroots level local government through to central government level while promoting a democratic culture in the country 

 To improve the living conditions of the country’s disadvantaged groups, in particular women, children and poor, through launching of effective social and economic development programs

ABDUL MOMEN KHAN

in memory of

“Abdul Momen Khan(1919-1984) educationist, bureaucrat, politician. Momen Khan was born in Dhaka in 1919. Between 29 June 1978 and 15 April 1979, Abdul Momen Khan was a member of the cabinet in charge of the Ministry of Food. Abdul Momen Khan was the Minister of the Government of Bangladesh from 15 April 1979 to 27 November 1981.”

“Begum Khorsheda Banu is the founding chairperson of the Abdul Momen Khan Foundation and it’s sponsored university The Millenium University and wife of Late Abdul Momen Khan. She got married to Abdul Momen Khan in 1942.”
